About Me!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University and a Master's in Education, School Counseling degree from Colorado State University. I am also a National Certified Counselor. Prior to moving to Fort Collins, I was the Violence Prevention Specialist for three school districts in southwest Colorado.
I grew up in Concord, NC and attended NC State in Raleigh (go Wolfpack!). After graduating, I moved to Telluride, CO where I lived, worked, and played in the mountains for 4 years. I moved to Fort Collins in 2007 to attend graduate school at CSU and fell in love with the town. In 2009, I became the counselor at Shepardson, one of the best jobs in the world!
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family (my husband James, our three great kiddos, and cuddly pooch named Mozey). We like to hike, camp, bike, and play outside together. I also enjoy traveling, music, reading, dancing, coffee, skiing, dairy-free ice cream, running, and being part of the wonderful Fort Collins community.
