I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. I have 20+ years of experience working with children of all ages. I have worked at Shepardson with the Gifted and Talented students since 2010.
I was born in Kansas City and moved as a toddler to Texas. I left the hot and humid Lone Star state for the dry, mountainous Rocky Mountains. I attended C.S.U. and refused to leave this incredible family friendly town. The majority of my extended family has since moved to our town and I am certain it will be our forever home. My oldest daughter is a senior at Baylor University and my youngest is thriving at Lesher.
I have so many interests . . . doodling, knitting, painting, dystopian novels, eye bombing, tree house exploration, taking things apart, and discovering new places, but my greatest passion of all is working with students and helping them uncover their gifts and strengths. Fortunately my job incorporates so many of my personal interests!
