I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Cardiff University in Wales, Great Britain and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Oregon in Eugene where I studied the geochemistry of metamorphic rocks called rodingites.
I grew up in a small village near Swansea in Wales, Great Britain. After I completed my Bachelors degree I won a scholarship to study in the USA and chose Oregon as I learned that it was very rainy there and very much like Wales! There I met and married my husband. Over the next several years we bounced along Interstate 80 following my husbands' jobs and lived in Washington DC, Laramie, Wyoming, and Arlington, Virginia, and along the way we gained two cats and two children!
I love living in Colorado and particularly enjoy hiking and skiing in the mountains with my family. Of course I love to spend my spare time reading but also try to find time to garden and just hanging out with my family at home.
