I have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and a masters in electrical engineering with a specialty of digital signal processing. Both degrees are from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology during my college years in the Superconductor Critical Current Measurement Lab. I started working at HP in Fort Collins in 1998 as a product engineer responsible for workstation products. I had various roles in workstations, desktop and notebook supply chain through-out 16 years at HP including engineering, project management and Lean Six Sigma process improvement. I had the opportunity to work with colleagues all over the world including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Taiwan, Europe and through-out the United States.
This is my third year teaching Technology at Shepardson STEM and I just LOVE my job!
I am a pseudo-Colorado native as I moved to Colorado Springs when I was 5 years old. I grew up in the Springs and moved to Boulder to go to college. I moved to Fort Collins in 1998. I am married to a wonderful man and have two amazing sons who keep me hopping :)
I enjoy spending time with my family and when I have time I like to read and scrapbook. Our family also enjoys camping and jetskiing in the summer. I love technology, math and data analysis which I think makes me a geek but proud of it!
