About Me!
I grew up in a suburb of San Diego and pretty much played every sport I could when I was young. I earned a scholarship to attend school and play volleyball at CU in Boulder, where I earned my BA in International Studies. I continued playing volleyball professionally in Switzerland and then with the US National team from 1995-1998. After my playing career ended - I started coaching collegiately at Clemson University and then Colorado State University for 9 years.
I left college coaching behind to raise our 5 kids and 2 dogs. While my kids started school I learned that I LOVED being at the elementary school. I volunteered constantly until they gave me a job as a para and I found my new passion. Since then I have been a para, coached volleyball and been a director or Youth Programs at NORCO - but am grateful to be where my heart is happy - at Shepardson!
Some of my favorites are my family, my dogs, being outdoors, gardening, kayaking and being with people I care about. I also love to laugh! My favorite quote is: The best things in life aren't things.
