About Me!

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado with majors in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and English and graduate work in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University. I am certified to teach grades K - 12. I started my teaching career at the secondary level where I taught English, Health and Physical Education. I also coached soccer and volleyball at both the elementary and secondary levels. Before coming to Shepardson, I worked for the Health, Exercise Science Department at Colorado State University. This is my 13th year as the Shepardson Physical Education teacher.

My family is originally from Hawaii. I grew up in Illinois and moved to Colorado to attend college where I met my husband, a Fort Collins native. We have 2 children who both attended Shepardson from kindergarten through 6th grade, graduated from Fort Collins High School and are University of Colorado and University of Texas alumni.

I enjoy traveling, exercising, Jazzercising, playing Bunco and spending time with my 3 wonderful grandkids!
