Education and Experience:

I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in elementary education and have additional endorsements and degrees from Kansas State University anad Waldorf University. Prior to becoming a full-time mother I spent 10 years teaching middle schoolers. I am excited to co-teach with Martha Rehm and will be teaching literacy in the afternoons.

I grew up in a small town in northern Iowa. After graduating from Iowa State my husband, Tom, and I moved to Kansas, back to Iowa, and then on to Colorado. We have been living in Fort Collins since 2012 and absolutely love the community here. My two boys, Will and Simon, attended Shepardson and we are all so proud to be Stars!

Interests & Hobbies:

In my free time I would prefer to read, bake, and drink tea all day. In reality, I spend much more time attempting to battle laundry and toilets (yes, battle is the correct verb for cleaning toilets in my home). My boys are involved in scouting and I spend time volunteering in Cub Scouts and our church.
