Where Stem Learning Happens

Media

The Shepardson Media Center is a unique and essential part of our learning community. We promote and foster inquiry to empower success within a culture of reading.

The Media Center operates within the Specials rotation. Each class visits the library once a week for 45 minutes.  Information literacy skills are taught at all grade levels. Story time and accompanying lessons support and enhance classroom units from English Language Arts to Social Studies and Science.  All lessons align with grade level Colorado Academic Standards and American Association of School Librarian national standards.

Our Media Center is a place for students to think, create, grow and share.
