About Me!
I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and my teaching certificate from San Jose State University. My education career has spanned 20 years, with experience as a classroom teacher, substitute teacher, classroom volunteer, camp counselor, Girl Scout leader, and outdoor educator. This is my tenth year teaching third grade. It's a fabulous year and a great age for learning. The children are confident, fun, eager, energetic, the list goes on and on. I am both honored and excited to be working with such a great age, and our wonderful Shepardson community.
I was born and raised in Hollywood, California! I moved to Santa Cruz, California for college. I set up residence in the redwoods for as long as I could, however in 2005, it was time for a change. My family and I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. We love it here! I have two daughters: both graduates of Shepardson Elementary, a great husband, and a motley crew of dogs.
I love spending time with my family, gardening, walking my dogs, cooking, spending time with friends, paddling, and riding horses. I also enjoy quiet cups of tea.
