About Me!

I have been teaching at Shepardardson Elementary since 2018. I love this community and school!

I grew up in Central Texas. I attended Texas A&M University for my Bachelors of Science in Health Education. I attended University of Northern Colorado for my Masters in Elementary Education. I worked in public health for 13 years in Texas and California. After my daughters were born, I worked in early childhood education as a preschool teacher and then as a preschool director in North Carolina.

My family and I moved to Fort Collins in October 2017 and love it here! I have two daughters - one at Fossil Ridge High School and one is in college at University of Oregon in Eugene. I live here with my sister,  who teaches at Preston Middle School, and our 5 cats. I love calling Fort Collins home!

I enjoy reading, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and cross-stitching. I also enjoy traveling near and far to visit my family and explore the amazing world we live in! My daughter plays lacrosse and field hockey - so you can often find me at French Field or at Fossil Field watch her play.
