About Me!
I love learning and am grateful to explore interests and passions with your children during Fifth Grade. I have degrees in International Relations and German Literature as well as a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from CU, Boulder (in 1994!). I was a Fulbright Scholar to Germany in 1990-91 and returned to Berlin in 2020-22 as a bilingual science teacher. This will be my second school year at Shepardson and 30th year in Education!
I grew up within a few miles of Shepardson and spent many afternoons at Warren Lake! I have also lived in California, Minnesota, and Texas before returning to Fort Collins in 2004. My family includes my wife, Beth, two adult children in their 20's, three cats and two very large Great Danes. We love life in Colorado!
My priority is my family so I enjoy spending as much of my time with them as I can. We love to travel to visit our children and spend time out and about with the dogs. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, reading, and being outside as much as possible.
